The much-anticipated Eid release has started making headlines for its advance booking numbers. If reports are to be believed, it has surpassed the booking numbers of his previous Eid release. As reports suggest, on March 28 the directorial was successful in minting Rs 4.05 crore pre-sales for its opening day at the box office. With this, the overall advance collection of the action-thriller has reached Rs 9.38 crore. According to the trade reports from Sacnilk, these numbers include blocked seats. For the unversed, the film has already sold 1.38 lakh tickets for Sunday (March 30). This marks a substantial rise compared to Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which had earned Rs 3.39 crore in advance bookings by selling 1.29 lakh tickets for its opening day in April 2023.

Much like his previous release Tiger 3, Sikandar too will get a Sunday release and continues to do well in advance sales. According to trade experts, there could be a surge in bookings by Friday evening and through Saturday. Reason? There have been several last-minute ticket buyers. Sikandar is behind the YRF film Toger 3 in its advance business. For the unversed, the Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer’s pre-sales for the opening day was approximately Rs 22.97 crore gross (without block seats). This had emerged as one of the biggest advance booking numbers for a Salman Khan film. But things aren’t as impactful for Sikandar.

During the trailer launch, Salman Khan left everyone impressed when he made a bold statement about the film’s box office success. The star had declared that it would easily cross Rs 200 crore. He said, “Eid, Diwali, New Year, festive, non-festive, it’s the love of the people and picture acchi ho ya buri ho, woh sau ( ₹100 crore) toh paar kara hi dete hain (Whether film is good or bad, it will at least mint ₹100 crore)”.
