Shiv Shakti: Tap Tyaag Tandav began in 2023. The show has been getting all the love from the audience. Mythological shows have always been the favourite of the audience. The show is produced by Siddharth Kumar Tewary and it stars Ram Yashvardhan and Subha Rajput as the leads. They both play the role of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati in the serial. We have seen so many aspects of Lord Shiva’s story. The makers have beautifully portrayed the story and brought the divine life in front of the audience.

The story has now entered the new Minakshi-Sunder phase. Ram and Subha spoke to BollywoodLife about the upcoming episodes. Ram Yashvardhan said, “This is a different track. As Lord Shiva, I had to be very straight, calm and composed. I did not have that much hand movement, body movement and it there had to be perfect posture. But this is now a human character and as humans we have a lot of expressions. There are many hand movements, the voice tone goes up and down. I am loving this Minakshi-Sundar story. I am thoroughly enjoying these shades. People are liking the story and there is much more coming up.”

Subha said, “Minakshi-Sunder track is going to be a very different experience. This is basically the love story of Shiv and Shakti only. This is just a different avatar where the soul is same but they are gone in different families, upbringing. But the souls are same and hence, they end up being together. That is what love is. What is meant to be it happens.”

Ram further spoke about how his life has changed after playing a divine character on-screen for so long. He said, “Life has changed in every way after this show. If we talk about the interior, the ‘aatmik’ part, a lot has changed. My patience level has gone up. Sometimes when go wrong, I am calm and think that I am just doing my job and the other person is doing his job. In short, small things that used to bother me before, now that does not happen. The way of looking at things has changed. There is a lot of peace in life now. Now, I have completely given my life in God’s hands and I know He will take me to the right path.”

Subha added, “It taught me a lot of patience. I am playing Shakti. The dialogues and story leaves a big impact on me. I talk about equality and women are powerful. It talks about the strengths of women and how they should be respected and treated with love. The good qualities stay with you and you recognise how strong you are.”
