The action director said that at that time, the VFX technology was not so advanced. Hence, they had to use the real fire on set. For the scene, they used three cameras and had 60 people working on the scene when it was being filmed.
Sham Kaushal told Friday Talkies that he had to be extremely careful with the timing of lighting and extinguishing the fire, as even a one-of-two-second delay could prove dangerous. For the scene, it took them 4-5 days to shoot to complete it.
