For the Hindi version, Shah Rukh Khan will be the voice of Mufasa and will be lending his voice to Simba. The duo are reprising their roles of Mufasa and Simba after the 2019 film, The Lion King. Another addition to the cast is SRK’s youngest son, AbRam Khan. AbRam will be the voice of young Mufasa. SRK and Aryan were spotted at a dubbing studio for the same. Neither of them posed for the paparazzi. In fact, SRK was holding an umbrella to hide himself from the cameras.
Meanwhile, Mufasa: The Lion King is helmed by Barry Jenkins and the screenplay is written by Jeff Nathanson. It will release in theatres on December 20, 2024.
