These days, we see announcement videos for actors’ upcoming films, which give a vibe and introduction to the world of that particular film. Natural Star Nani is one of those actors who is following this trend for his movies like Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, HIT 3 and The Paradise. He feels that announcement videos will not just introduce audiences to the world of a particular film but also make them excited about its release right before the start of its regular shoot.
Speaking in a recent interview, Nani said, “Initially, we used to give a press note to the media saying that this director, actor, and production are coming together. But I think it is more exciting than just giving the names to actually give you a small taste of the world we are building. That will be the first news out, and they say first impression is the best impression, right?”
“So, why wait till the teaser? Why don’t we shoot something exciting for the fans and movie audiences? They will look forward to the film once they see that announcement video, which kind of brings excitement among them. They will understand the tone of the film and will be waiting for more updates. There won’t be unnecessary rumours about the story because you are already telling audiences about its vibe. So, it’s a fun exercise to think of an idea for the announcement video also because that will not be in the film, but that kind of gives you an idea of how the film is going to be,” he added.
Nani’s HIT 3 is slated for a worldwide release on May 1. Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, this movie features Srinidhi Shetty as the female lead.
