Cinema has a greater influence on the society. Over the decades, we have been witnessing many scenarios of how cinema influences the society. Sometimes, it is a good influence, and sometimes, it is a bad influence. However, when people consistently argue that films leave a bad impact on society, it may not get accepted all the time. Now, a government school teacher based out of Hyderabad argues that Pushpa 2 turned half of her school students into spoiled brats.
In a recent meeting with the Education commission, many school teachers and Head Masters of different government school teachers in the city participated actively. During the interaction, the school teachers shared their plight on how difficult it is becoming to transform the students’ lives. One of the teacher mentioned that the influence of media and cinema is growing and the recent Pushpa 2 has spoiled half of her school students.
Especially some of the students who attend government schools are tough to deal with. The particular woman headmistress who is in charge of Yousufguda government school claimed that the students are irregular and, on top of that, are tough to deal with. “They don’t behave well and pick up bad language from their streets and homes. Especially, their hairstyle is very odd, and when we try to tell them to change it, they pay no ear to us. Even the parents also not concerned about it,” she said.
The teacher pointed out that Pushpa 2 spoiled half of her school children and she is unable to punish them, with a fear of suspension. She explained her plight that it is tough for teachers like her in mending the ways of some brats.
Although what she said is true but it is not completely convincing or justifying to blame the movie for the bad behavior of students. The film could be one of the many contributing factors but the movie alone can not spoil the students is what someone opine.
