Victory Venkatesh’s Sankranthiki Vasthunnam continues to dominate at the box office, delivering double profits for producers and buyers across all regions. Even in its second week, the film maintains a strong hold in both the Telugu states and overseas.
On its 12th day, the movie crossed Rs 260 crore worldwide, with expectations to cross Rs 300 crore by the end of its run, especially with the Republic Day holiday (Sunday) boosting numbers. 170K+ tickets were sold on BookMyShow on Saturday.
In North America, the film earned $2.6 million, and crossing $3 million now seems assured. Sankranthiki Vasthunnam has already become the highest grosser for Venkatesh, director Anil Ravipudi, and producer Dil Raju in the region.
The film’s continued strong showing, even in its second week, can be attributed to its appeal among family audiences, who are returning to theaters time and again. With its record-breaking performance, the movie is set to become the biggest grosser among regional Telugu films.
