The post – which features a heart and a hug emojis – has received over 8,000 likes in a minute. The aforementioned post was exclusively shared with paid subscribers of Samay’s channel.
A person on Reddit mentioned that the post got about 11,000 liked in four minutes. “It has 11k likes in 4 minutes on members only. That’s big in my opinion,” the person said.
Samay Raina also spoke about the ongoing controversy during a show in Canada. A fan’s viral post explained how Samay Raina got emotional as his fans chanted his name, and expressed their support as he combats a legal battle. Samay, who began the show with “thanks for paying my lawyer’s fees”, also chatted about the India’s Got Latent controversy, and stressed on the fact that maybe the time is tough for him.

Meanwhile, the Maharashtra Cyber Department has confirmed that a second summons will soon be issued to YouTuber Samay Raina after he missed a scheduled statement recording session that was scheduled for February 18. In the previous appeal, Samay had requested to record his statement through videoconferencing as he had been touring abroad. However, the department turned down his request, and stressed on the fact that he must appear in person to give his statement.
India’s Got Latent got dragged into the ongoing controversy after podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia made a guest appearance. YouTuber-podcaster Ranveer, also known as ‘BeerBiceps’, sparked outrage with his ‘disgusting’ comment on comedian Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent show.
“Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever,” Ranveer had asked a contestant during the latest episode, which also featured content creators including Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh and Apoorva Mukhija.
