Reality TV shows like Bigg Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi now have an ardent fan base. Every year, fans wait for the new seasons of these shows for entertainment. After Bigg Boss 18 hosted by Salman Khan came to an end, fans were desperately waiting for the announcement of Khatron Ke Khiladi 15. Rohit Shetty was supposed to be back as the host and challenging stunts. Names of celebrities like Munawar Faruqui, Elvish Yadav and others being probable contestants were also making headlines. However, recently, rumours went viral suggesting that Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 and Bigg Boss 19 may not happen this year as production house Banijay Asia has backed out of it. But here’s an update.
As per a report in portal Pinkvilla, the next seasons of and have not been cancelled but may face a bit delay. The report suggests that Colors TV is now looking for new producers to back the top reality shows post Banijay Asia’s exit. The report mentions that the conflicts began around two months ago. Due to internal conflicts within Banijay Asia, Endemol decided to withdrew from Colors TV over just two weeks ago. Neither the makers nor the hosts have made any comments on this as yet.
While there is time for Bigg Boss 19, Rohit Shetty’s show Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 hosted by Rohit Shetty was expected to premiere in the month of July. The contestants were on the verge of getting locked and fly abroad for the shoot of the show. As per a source of India Today, “A few celebrities were already locked, and others were in discussion with the team at different stages. After the producers put out their decision to the channel (Colors), the locked celebrities’ dates were also released.” We await further details on the same.
