Saif Ali Khan was injured after a robber barged inside his and Kareena Kapoor’s residence in Bandra and allegedly stabbed him. The incident is said to have occurred around 2:30 am on Thursday when he was sleeping in his house.
As per a Hindustan Times report, a senior IPS officer confirmed the incident and said Saif has been admitted to the Lilavati hospital where he is undergoing a treatment.
The robber reportedly fled from the scene after his family members woke up. The police are also in the process of registering an FIR.
The investigation is currently ongoing, with the Mumbai Crime Branch also conducting a parallel inquiry into the incident.
