Bollywood actor recently suffered injuries after he was stabbed six times in his own house by an intruder who reportedly demanded Rs 1 crore rupees as ransom. The thief was trying to enter Saif and Kareena’s youngest son Jeh’s room. The child’s nanny also got hurt during the tussle between Saif and the robber. Saif was immediately rushed to the hospital. The statement by Kareena read, ‘It has been an incredibly challenging day for our family, and we are still trying to process the events that have unfolded. As we navigate this difficult time, I respectfully and humbly request that the media and paparazzi refrain from the relentless speculation and coverage’.
Kareena added saying, ‘While we appreciate the concern and support, the constant scrutiny and attention are not only overwhelming but also pose a significant risk to our safety. Well, Saif is unconscious post the surgery and is recovering now. The Chief Operating Officer of the hospital, Dr Niraj Uttamani had told Hindustan Times that the actor suffered six injuries — two minor, two intermediate, and two severe. The deep injury was near his spine. Kareena and his children, Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan were spotted at the hospital yesterday. Apart from them, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu, Siddharth Anand, Karisma Kapoor too visited the hospital. Shah Rukh Khan also went to meet Saif.
