was attacked in the early hours of Thursday at his Bandra residence. A man entered the house with an attempt of robbery and attacked Saif as he was trying to protect his son Jeh. The man stabbed the actor 6 times and a piece of a knife was lodged in his neck. While he is now out of danger, the cops have finally arrested the main accused in the case. The main accused’s name is , but his real name is Mohd Sajjad and is originally from West Bengal.

As reported by ANI, Vijay Das used to work as a waiter at a restaurant. He even confessed to committing the crime to the Mumbai Police. After attacking , the main was caught on the CCTV camera, exiting the building. It helped the cop trace him down and he was arrested in Thane.

The report further mentions that Vijay Das also goes by the names Bijoy Das and Mohammed Iliyas. Jeh’s nanny, who was also attacked by the man, helped the police with his description. The cops revealed that Vijay used the staircase to get into Saif’s 12th floor apartment in the Satguru Sharan building in Bandra. He demanded Rs 1 crore from the actor. The report also mentions that Vijay got down at the Dadar station on Thursday at 9 am, where he bought headphones. He was also spotted at the Bandra station.

Currently, Saif Ali Khan’s attacker, Vijay Das, is taken to the Khar Police Station. Yesterday, gave a statement to the police. The actress revealed that the accused was very aggressive in nature. However, he didn’t steal anything from the house. Bebo even mentioned that there was some jewellery kept in the house in the open. But the man didn’t take anything with him.
