Now, Remo Dsouza’s wife Lizelle D’Souza has clarified on all the reports suggesting that the choreographer-turned-director has not received any death threats.
To Hindustan Times, Lizelle D’souza clarified that the reports are “false”. She shared that they received some spam emails and informed the cops. She was quoted saying, “We got spam emails on the company email ID regarding something else, for which we informed the cops. The cyber department is looking into it, and they also feel it’s spam.” ‘s wife assured everyone that there is nothing to worry about. Lizelle shared that she does not know why it has been linked to death threats and there might be some misinterpretation. “It may be for someone else, and they must have clubbed things with others,” she said. She also clarified that the spam emails did not carry any death threats.
As per reports, the email received by has been signed off as ‘BISHNU’. The mail states that the comedian’s whereabouts are being tracked. “We are monitoring your recent activities and we believe it is important that we bring to your attention a sensitive matter. This is not a publicity stunt or an attempt to harass you, we urge you to treat this message with utmost seriousness and confidentiality,” it reads as per reports.
