The shooting of RC 16, starring Ram Charan and directed by Buchi Babu, is progressing smoothly as per the planned schedule. The team is ensuring that ample time is allocated for post-production. Care is being taken to give AR Rahman enough time for music. Key scenes related to cricket and wrestling have already been shot. It is also expected that Kannada star hero Shiva Rajkumar will join the project this week, and his portions will be completed soon.
Meanwhile, there are reports that several crucial episodes for this pan-India film are being planned to be shot at the Parliament in Delhi. But, these days getting permissions for film shoots near parliament surroundings are not so easy. However, it is believed that if Pawan Kalyan, as an alliance partner, he’s with a word, the BJP government may respond favorably, making it almost confirmed. Additionally, the team plans to shoot some scenes at Jama Masjid in Delhi, with permissions expected to be obtained after Ramzan.
The exact dates for the Delhi shoot have not been fixed yet, and the current shooting is still taking place in Hyderabad. The title Peddhi is under consideration for RC 16, and discussions are ongoing within the team to ensure it connects well across all languages. Fans are eagerly anticipating the film. After the disappointment of Game Changer, which saw three years of effort go to waste, the team is hoping that Buchi Babu will deliver a much-needed success. If possible, they aim for a release either during this year’s Dussehra or Diwali, but if that doesn’t work out, the summer of 2026 is being targeted as the new release date.
