Rajasthan Royals (RR) shared a grand video, welcoming back into their setup ahead of the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026.
The star all-rounder burst onto the scene with some stunning performances for the Royals under Shane Warne’s captaincy. He was part of the Royals’ side which won the inaugural season of the IPL in 2008. 18 years later, Jadeja would want to help the Rajasthan-based franchise end their title drought.

Jadeja returned to the Rajasthan Royals for the IPL 2026 season in a major trade with the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The Men in Yellow took Sanju Samson in their side from the Royals in exchange of Jadeja and England all-rounder Sam Curran. The Saurashtra all-rounder was traded for INR 14 crore, taking a pay cut from his previous INR 18 crore salary at CSK.
In the last season, the Royals had a forgettable campaign. In 14 matches, they registered four wins and 10 defeats. They finished ninth on the points table, only above CSK.
