Rashmika Mandanna has become a national crush and has recently been signing back-to-back Hindi films. Her appearances in Pushpa and Animal raised her stardom to the next level, but she has been the center of trolls quite often these days. The latest reason seems to be her claims to be from Hyderabad.

Rashmika’s Chhaava was released today and the movie received a good response for the performances. However, Rashmika’s words from her recent public appearance have irked her Kannada fans. Rashmika Mandanna, while promoting Chhaava in Bollywood said, ‘I am from Hyderabad. I have come alone and today I hope I am a part of all your family.’

After bagging big success films in Telugu, Rashmika might have changed her base to Hyderabad and appears to have settled in the city. But claiming to be coming from Hyderabad has not gone well with the Kannada audience and her fans from Karnataka. Many were seen trolling her for the statement and commented that she tries to impress the Telugu audience with statements like these.

Many others asked her not to forget her roots even though she is on her way to becoming a top-league heroine in Bollywood. There are others who came in support of her as she is currently living in Hyderabad and that is what she said. Rashmika Mandanna made her debut film in Kannada and has acted five films in Kannada. She has been busy with Telugu and Hindi films from 2021.
