Following his impeccable performance in Raid, is all set to be back on the big screen as the courageous IRS officer Amay Patnaik for his 75th Raid.

According to the number aggregating website, Sacnilk, Raid 2 managed to sell 35332 tickets which resulted in Rs 1.06 crores for its first day. With the block booked seats added, the number has increased to 2.32 crores. Going by the numbers and the success of the first film, fans can expect the sequel to be a box office success.
After the massive success of the first film, Ajay Devgn’s back — and this time, he’s taking on a jaw-dropping raid worth 4,200 crores. Raid 2’s teaser offers the thrills, suspense, and drama you could hope for. As Devgn’s Amay Patnaik rolls up his sleeves for another high-stakes mission, he’s up against the super shady and powerful politician Dada Bhai, played by none other than Riteish Deshmukh. The fiery showdown between the officer and the politician is already cranking up the excitement for this much-awaited release!
The film has been directed by Kumar Gupta and its script written by Ritesh Shah, Karan Vyas, and Jaideep Yadav. The film also features Vaani Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, Supriya Pathak, Amit Sial, and Yashpal Sharma in key roles. Saurabh Shukla will play the role of Tauji. Panorama Studios and T-Series have backed the film.
For the unversed, the original Raid had released in 2018, and was based on a real-life income tax raid from the 1980s. The title had featured Ajay Devgn, Saurabh Shukla, and Ileana D’Cruz in key roles.
