Often, we see some people posting their interactions with celebrities online. A female fan once posted a chat with actor R. Madhavan where he replied to her messages. However, some people misunderstood the same and wondered if he was allegedly talking to a young girl. In a viral video, the 3 Idiots actor has clarified the same and revealed what exactly happened.

About the incident and highlighting the misuse of chats, R Madhavan said at an event, ““I’m an actor. I have all these people messaging me on Instagram. I’ll tell you a simple example, a young girl messages, ‘I saw this movie. I really loved it. I thought you were a fabulous actor. Well done. You motivate me’, and at the end of it, she put lots of hearts and kisses and love symbols. Now there is a fan who is talking to me in such detail, that I am compelled to answer. So I always say thank you so very much very kind of you. God bless you.”

The Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein actor added, “What she does is, she takes a screenshot of my reply to her and makes it a post on Instagram. Now what do people see? Hearts kisses and love things and Maddy’s reply. My intention was not to reply to that, but to her message, but because it’s a small thing, you only see that and say, ‘Oh Maddy is talking to young girls’. If that is the fear that I have, can you imagine somebody without my experience, how much trouble they are going to get into?”

On Reddit, people have reacted to the video. One person wrote, “That’s the thing with blinds. One person says something on here. Eventually every year someone remembers it and adds to it until it spreads like wildfire. After all no one knows what’s true because some blinds are planted for pr, some are hearsay and some are planted by competitors. Not a big deal but clearly he’s affected. Don’t know what the truth is but we should always take things with a grain if salt.” Another commented, “Remember him being called one of the most unproblematic celebrities until I read this rumor on here ruining everything for me”.
