Bollywood icon recently took to her Instagram handle to share her reaction to the devastating Palisades fire in Los Angeles. For the unversed, the fire has burned thousands of acres and led to forced widespread evacuations. The actress dropped a heartbreaking video on her Instagram Story, which showed how the wildfire had consumed the Los Angeles neighborhood.

In the video clip, Priyanka can be heard saying, “It’s crazy.” She also posted in the caption, “My thoughts are with everyone affected. Hope we are all able to be safe tonight,” along with a folded hands emoji.

Priyanka had shared another Insta story about how the Palisades Fire had destroyed several homes. “Fast-moving Palisades fire in LA scorches thousands of acres, destroys homes.” Priyanka’s fans were quick to react to the video with supportive and empathetic messages.

Anthony Hopkins too had lost his home in the devastating California wildfires. Hopkins had bought a gorgeous four-bedroom, five-bathroom home in the Pacific Palisades area for $6 million in 2021. He saw his property turn into charred ruins.

Billy Crystal, Paris Hilton and Eugene Levy were among celebrities who lost their homes in the wildfires that devastated neighbourhoods of Los Angeles. Crystal and his wife, Janice lost their Pacific Palisades home of 46 years. Schitt’s Creek star Eugene Levy’s house was also incinerated. In an Instagram video, Mandy Moore showed devastated streets in Altadena near Pasadena. “Honestly, I’m in shock and feeling numb for all so many have lost, including my family,” she posted. Homes of Nobody Wants This actor Adam Brody and Leighton Meester, Anna Faris, James Woods, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt too were gutted. Ben Affleck, Tom Hanks had to flee as the flames destroyed their luxury properties.

Wildfires in the Palisades region of Southern California spiraled out of control and burned over 2,900 acres. Authorities were quick to declare a state of emergency in the area, and officials had warning that the situation could turn worse.
