Naagin has been one of the most-watched and loved shows on Indian TV. It had debuted in 2015 with Mouni Roy and Arjun Bijlani roped in as the protagonists. The first season was a massive success and earned immense love and appreciation from the viewers. Such was the impact of the show that it also witnessed a surge in TRPs. The second season was even a bigger hit as Mouni Roy returned opposite Karanvir Bohra. Adaa Khan was also a crucial part of both seasons. Over the years, the show has released four more seasons, and been successful in winning hearts and TRPs.
TV stars including Nia Sharma, Surbhi Jyoti, Jasmin Bhasin, Hina Khan, Anita Hassanandani, Tejasswi Prakash, Surbhi Chandna, Sharad Malhotra, Vijayendra Kumeria, Pearl V Puri, Mohit Sehgal among others have been a part of the Naagin series. The last season of Naagin did well and offered the viewers a story that was related to COVID-19. Once the show wrapped up, viewers have been keen on knowing when the new season be launched.
Earlier this month, producer Ekta Kapoor confirmed the return of the much-anticipated supernatural TV show Naagin 7 back on TV. She took to her Instagram handle to share the video from one of her meetings with the team responsible for bringing the show back to the small screen. She posted, “Nagin7 !!!!!!!!” In the same video, Ekta could be heard saying, ‘Anyone who wants to know where Naagin is? So this girl will tell us where Naagin is.’
After this, there have been many reports suggesting who could be roped in to play the lead role. It was being reported that Isha Malviya, and Chahatt Pandey are in consideration to play Naagin. However, none of them confirmed the news.
A few recent reports suggested that Isha and Priyanka were finalised along with Bigg Boss 18 runner-up Vivian Dsena. Priyanka has finally reacted to these rumours. She took to her social media to put an end to these rumours.
She wrote, “Rumors? Oh, I’ve seen them. The excitement? Not gonna lie, I enjoyed it! But let’s keep it real, not me ?.Now that the air is clear, it’s time to move on to more exciting things!”
Well, it will be interesting to see who will be the new Naagin of television.
