Naagin has always been one of the most loved serials. The first season of the show came out in 2015 with Mouni Roy as the lead actress. It was a big hit and the TRPs were brilliant. The show got all the love from the audience and Mouni was appreciated for her performance in the show. The second season also came with Mouni as the lead and it was a bigger hit. The supernatural genre became quite famous after this. Later, we saw actresses like Nia Sharma, Surbhi Jyoti, Jasmin Bhasin, Hina Khan, Adaa Khan, Anita Hassanandani, Tejasswi Prakash, Surbhi Chandna joining the show as Naagins.

They all have done a fabulous job. The last season of the show came in 2020 and ever since it ended, people have been waiting for the new season. Ekta Kapoor had taken a break with this series and recently fulfilled everyone’s wishes by announcing Naagin 7.

She shared a post on Instagram revealing that the work on Naagin 7 has started. She did not shared much details about the show nor she revealed the name of the lead actress. Since then, a lot of stories have been coming out about who would be the new lead of the show.

A few days ago, it was being said that is going to play the lead. But now, the latest reports in News 18 ShowSha say that Bigg Boss 17 contestant Isha Malviya is in talks with Naagin 7 makers. It has been reported that things are looking positive and Isha is likely to be finalised as Naagin.

A source close to the portal revealed, “Isha has already proven her acting chops in her previous shows, and we believe she has the potential to take the Naagin franchise to new heights.” Now, we are waiting to know who can be the male lead of Naagin 7.
