Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Sankranthi release movie Daaku Maharaaj had its grand prerelease event in the USA. At the event, Balayya spoke about criticism, his spiritual beliefs, destiny, and success. The senior hero made an interesting statement that this is his second inning.
Balakrishna recalled how his journey in films began with the legendary actor NTR introducing him to the cinema. Balayya says he was inspired by the great actor and followed him, and today, he has become a self-made diamond.

Acknowledging the criticism, Balakrishna says he does not care about it. He admits that age has given him the maturity to make the right decisions about the story selections and many other things. After 50 years of his journey in films, Balayya speaks about his success and failure while saying the last three supersuccessful films Akhanda, Veerasimha Reddy, and Bhagavanth Kesari reminded him of 1986 when he scored 7 blockbusters.
‘Unlike many actors who start their second innings as character artists, I am taking this as an opportunity as my second innings after delivering three blockbusters and winning three consecutive times as Hindupur MLA,’ Balayya said.
Well, Daaku Maharaaj is just the beginning of Balayya’s second innings and it has to be seen how it turns out and what the actor is planning hereafter.
