Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Daaku Maharaaj is one of the exciting movies at the box office. Despite the competition, Balakrishna’s film emerged as the winner. Although the film had a predictable plot and routine commercial treatment, the combination of Balakrishna, Thaman, and Naga Vamsi made the difference.
Oftentimes, the films are set up based on combinations. Only a few times do these films become a hit. Daaku Maharaaj also falls under the list where the film clicked because of the star power.
Balakrishna is confidently making movies, avoiding cringe and catering to the expectations of the fans. He is ensuring to reinvent himself on the big screen. His daughter Tejaswini is also putting a lot of effort into showcasing Balakrishna differently on the big screen.
Additionally, Thaman’s thumping background score, along with a perfect planning from Naga Vamsi, made Daaku a winner. Naga Vamsi is a successful producer in Telugu who is always ready to experiment. Ditching the traditional methods of promotions and theatrical planning, Vamsi ensures he delivers what the fans expect from him. He is always a step ahead in the planning and execution of movies. He treats each film differently, and because of this, he stands out.
On the release day, the film opened to average to above average reviews. Luckily, there is minimal negative talk about the movie. In such a scenario, the film pulled it off with Balayya’s mass power, Thaman’s BGM and Naga Vamsi’s promotions.
Most likely, Balalrishna will join hands with Naga Vamsi once again. Already, Thaman is scoring Balayya’s Akhanda 2.
