When you are in the creative field, especially in the movie industry, it all boils down to staying relevant. No matter how big you are, you have to stay updated with the latest trends. Now, legendary music composer MM Keeravani is joining the trend of live concerts. Already, Ilaiyaraaja, AR Rahman, Anirudh Ravichander, Devi Sri Prasad and Thaman tested their luck. Now, its time for MMK.
Unlike Tamil Nadu, where live music concerts are a regular phenomenon, the Telugu states have seen limited success in this space. While Ilaiyaraaja’s concerts always drew a great positive response, the concerts of other composers witnessed a lukewarm response. In the middle of this, MM Keeravani gears up for his concert.
As part of a big musical tour, Keeravani is hosting his first concert in Hyderabad on March 22, with tickets already on sale. Keeravani’s rich discography spans from Allari Priyudu and Gharana Mogudu to Annamayya, Baahubali and RRR.
With a lineup of top singers and orchestras, this concert could pave the way for more live music experiences in Telugu states. At a time when people like Ed Sheeran are commanding a rich attendance for their concerts, we have to see to what extent will Keeravani taste the success.
