It is not necessary for two actors to get along well on sets. During the early 2000s, there were many actors and actresses who had clashes on the movie sets. One such clash happened between a star kid and a new actress who came together for a romantic thriller. Their infamous catfight is still widely discussed and now their co-star has opened up on the same.
You must have guessed by now that we are talking about Kareena Kapoor Khan and Bipasha Basu. While working together on the movie Ajnabee, Bebo and Bipasha didn’t get along. Due to their differences, Kareena even slapped Bipasha and called her a ‘kaali billi.’. So did their fights affect others on sets? Their co-star Amita Nangia opened up about the same and revealed if it affected their sets.
In an interview, Amita said, “I think it was something related to their costumes. They both wanted the same designer.” When asked if their fights affected others on the movie set, Amita answered, “What could we say? We would hear about it on set and react to it. It was their debut.”
Further in this entertainment news, Amita Nangia talked about working with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Bipasha Basu. “I couldn’t relate to Kareena because she was very reserved, and her mother was always with her. We couldn’t bond with her. But we were friendly—we would sit together and talk. Bipasha was very new and was completely focused on herself. She wasn’t very friendly.”
Meanwhile, Ajnabee was directed by Abbas-Mustan and also starred Bobby Deol and Akshay Kumar in the lead role. The movie released in theatres in 2001.
