Sherawat recalled the knock to be forceful and feared the door would break. “And I was like, no, it’s not going to happen,” she added. After that incident, Sherawat confirmed that the actor never worked with her again. The actress chose not to reveal the name.

Sherawat had once also revealed that because of her ‘bold’ onscreen persona, many actors tried to ‘take liberties’ with her. Nonetheless, she stood firm and refused to compromise. She had told Pinkvilla, “A lot of male actors started taking a lot of liberties with me, and they said if you can be so bold onscreen, so you can be bold with us in person also.”
