We have heard of many actors who decided to quit films and pursue some other careers. However, it is rare when we see these stars quitting the entertainment industry to become IPS or IAS. Well, there is one such actress who has done this. She has started her journey in the entertainment industry as a child actor. She was loved and appreciated for her performances. She did many amazing movies and was one of the top stars. She also did many hit TV shows but left all of this to become an IAS officer.
It was her dream to be an IAS officer and she did it. Yes, we are talking about . She has worked as a child artist in movies and even in TV shows. She did TV serials like Karpoorade Gombe, Ganga-Yamuna, Muddina Aliya, Upendra, Circle Inspector and others. She has been an important part of the film industry as well but she quit this world when she was at the peak of her career.
She wanted to pursue her dream of being an IAS officer. It was not an easy journey for her. After graduation, she started prepping for USPC examination. However, she has failed many times but did not lose hopes. She decided to make it happen and worked hard for it.
It was during her sixth attempt when she finally succeeded and passed the UPSC exam. She cracked the exam with an impressive All India Rank (AIR)-167. She first served as the Assistant Commissioner in the Mandya district of Karnataka.
This is not the only achievement of hers. Before becoming an IAS officer, she also cleared the Karnataka Administrative Service (KAS) exam. She worked as a KAS officer there for two years.
