Recently, an actress revealed some shocking details about the time they used to shoot in the 80s. We are talking about actress Mandakini. Her real name is Yasmeen Joseph and Mandakini is her screen name. She is one of the most famous actresses of the 80s. It was Raj Kapoor who helped her enter Bollywood. Her film Ram Teri Ganga Maili released in 1985.
The film made her an overnight star. She appeared partially nude in two sequences of the film. She got a lot of fame and she proved she is one of the most talented stars. However, she quit acting 28 years ago. Recently, she spoke about how actresses of her time had to struggle to change outfits. She came as a guest on India’s Best Dancer and was seen sharing her experience.
She said, “I will tell you how we used to change our clothes during our time. Studios have makeup rooms these days, but what about outdoors? Imagine how we would have changed clothes. Sometimes we even had to request people. If someone’s house was nearby, we had to request them that please can we get a room? Then we would get a room. Sometimes 4-5 people would stand and cover us with a curtain. In between, we would change our clothes. At that time, we used to get a little angry. We used to feel bad too, but it doesn’t matter, because everyone used to manage like this.”
