On November 14, 2024, an apprentice camera attendant died on the sets of due to electrocution. The DOP on the sets declared it as a ‘human error’. Later, a tweet by All Indian Cine Workers Association shocked all as it claimed that the shooting of the show continued despite the tragedy as if nothing had happened. It was big in. A few days later, ‘s Director’s Kut Production shared a statement confirming the death on the sets and expressing sadness. It was mentioned that immediate medical attention was provided to the cameraman but sadly he lost his life. Now, latest reports in entertainment news suggest that the production house has decided to compensate the family of the deceased with Rs 10 lakh.
The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) President B.N. Tiwari said, “We have received a communication from Rajan Shahi’s office that a compensation of Rs 10 lakhs will be given to father of Anil Mandal as he was unmarried,” as reported by Etimes. Apart from this, it is being reported that the insurance benefit due to the tragedy will also be directed to the nominated beneficiary. The family of the cameraman person was called from Patna post the tragedy and all the expenses were borne by the production house.
Anupamaa is among the highest TRP raking shows. For so long, it was on the number one spot. However, over the past two weeks, it has taken the second spot. The show lost the first spot to that stars Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit in leading roles.
