In an interview with Top Secret, alias Waseem Rizvi has accused Sanoj Mishra of taking advantage of simple tribal family. Jitendra Narayan Singh stated that he had a bad experience working with as they worked together on three films. Calling him a fraud, he made shocking claims about Sanoj Mishra and his drinking habits. He added that “I feel bad for Monalisa and her family. They are simple and innocent people. But a person like Sanoj Mishra reached their home. And without doing any background check, they handed over their daughter to him.” Jitendra Narayan also claimed that no producer will back a film by Sanoj Mishra, thus there is no money for him to make the movie.

Meanwhile, there are reports suggesting that Monalisa will be paid Rs 21 lakhs for her first project. Rs 1 lakh has already been paid in advance. She is said to be playing the role of a daughter of retired army officer. Anupam Kher is also said to be a part of this film. However, there is no confirmation yet. Monalisa recently attended an event in Kerala and pictures went viral on social media.
