Mohan Lal’s Lucifer directed by actor-director Prithviraj Sukumaran emerged as a blockbuster in Malayalam and was later remade into Telugu with Chiranjeevi as Godfather. There is a sequel to Lucifer coming now as ‘L2E Empuraan’ and the official teaser was released today.
Mohan Lal and Prithviraj’s Lucifer’s first part ended with Steven Nedumpally’s surprise reveal as Abraam Khureshi. The second part will show Khureshi’s story, which is intertwined with politics in Kerala.
However, there is another update. As confirmed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, the successful franchise will have a third part. The second part, L2E Empuraan, will have a cliffhanger that introduces the third part of the series.
L2E is coming to theaters on March 27th in five languages.
