Hero Vishal is a known face to the Telugu audiences with notable films like Pandem Kodi, Pogaru, Salute, Vaadu Veedu and Abhimanyudu. However, he hasn’t tasted success in Telugu with his dubbed films for a long time. Now, he is coming up with his new release, Madha Gaja Raja, which will hit the screens in Telugu on January 31.
Directed by Sundar C, Madha Gaja Raja is a commercial comedy entertainer which was originally slated for release in 2013. However, it was delayed due to multiple reasons over the last 12 years. Finally, it crossed all hurdles and was released during this year’s Pongal.
Surprisingly, Madha Gaja Raja went on to become a big success in Tamil Nadu. After achieving big success in Tamil, the makers are now dubbing the movie in Telugu.
Neither Vishal has a good market in Telugu right now nor the film is being promoted heavily in Telugu states. The makers are just banking on the Tamil movie’s success and are trying their luck with the Telugu version. It has to be seen if it becomes a comeback film for Vishal in Telugu as well.
Madha Gaja Raja features Anjali and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar as the female leads. Vijay Antony composed the music for it.
