Laughter Chefs 2 is getting love and praise. The TRPs of the show have been brilliant and we saw a lot of videos from the show go viral on the internet. The first season of the show was big hit and the concept of comedy, cooking was loved. When the first one ended, everyone was disappointed and hence, the makers came back with season 2. Bharti Singh is back as the host of the show, and Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi is the judge.
, , Elvish Yadav, , Abhishek Kumar, Samarth Jurel, Mannara Chopra, Vicky Jain, Sudesh Lehri, Krushna Abhishek, Kashmera Shah and Abdu Rozik are a part of the show. Many of these have been a part of season 1. However, Elvish is new to this show and he has been paired with Abdu who is also the new addition.
They both have impressed everyone with their cooking and have been doing great. But it seems, Elvish might not continue further. Recently, Elvish’s racist remarks against Bigg Boss 18 contestant Chum Darang got him a lot of negative comments. He made fun of Chum’s name and called it a vulgar name. He had said, “Karanveer ko pakka COVID tha kyunki Chum kisko pasand aati hai bhai, itna taste kiska kharab hota hai! Aur Chum ke toh naam mein hi ashleelta hai… Naam Chum aur kaam Gangubai Kathiawadi mein kiya hai.”
People trolled him a lot after this. The NCW (National Commission of Women) decided to take action against Elvish and file a case. Now, the president of the Federation of Western India Cine Employees, BN Tiwari has spoken against him. He wants the channel to remove Elvish Yadav from Laughter Chefs 2.
He wrote a letter to them that read, “We strongly condemn the promotion of Mr. Elvish Yadav. As you are well aware, he has made racial comments against Bigg Boss 18 contestant Chum Darang and has been widely criticized on social media platforms. Furthermore, several cases have been registered against him, including his arrest in the snake venom rave party case. He also faces legal charges under the Wildlife Act in Noida for allegedly arranging snake venom at rave parties. He is widely followed by the youth of our nation, and his actions highly influence them to engage in illegal activities. We strongly condemn all his acts that go against the welfare of society and the values of our country.”
He further asked the channel to stop their association with Elvish and not to promote him. Now, it will be interesting to see whether the channel will agree to it and replace Elvish.
