Rahul Vaidya is part of Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment season 1. He returned to the cooking reality show in season 2 and has teamed up with Bigg Boss 14 winner Rubina Dilaik. Season 2 of Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment premiered on January 25 and makers have promised intense comedy and culinary creativity in this new season. In a candid conversation, Rahul shared interesting anecdotes from his experience on the show.
In an interview with India Forums, Rahul spoke his heart out about how season 2 of Laughter Chefs will become an entertaining battleground for celebrities. He highlighted the fresh elements that set the second season apart from the previous one and also clarified that the show is not about culinary expertise.
He said, ‘It’s not about who can whip up the finest dishes. It’s about the crackling chemistry among the laughter chefs, their hilarious mishaps, and unexpected culinary wins that keep the entertainment piping hot. We’re sticking to the heart of what makes this show a hit—simplicity, fun, and those unfiltered kitchen blunders that have you laughing out loud!’
During the same interview, Rahul spoke about his pairing on the show with co-contestant Rubina Dilaik and said that they have a Tom and Jerry kind of bond. He continued saying, ‘I’m thrilled! Although I must admit, I’ve shed a few kilos ever since we started cooking together. Rubina’s like a no-nonsense headmistress – disciplined, sharp, and precise.’ In the promo, Rubina and Rahul are often seen poking fun at each other.
Rahul said, ‘Many people have assumed that Rubina and I are rivals; we’re not. Just because I didn’t get along with Rubina on Bigg Boss 15 doesn’t mean that I’ll resent her for the rest of my life. I think life is short and uncertain. It’s best to make amends and move on’. He also said that the negative rumour spread in social media about his and Rubina’s friendship is not true.
He said that he misses his cooking partner Aly Goni from the previous season and said, ‘The energy we had was unmatched’. The show has Vicky Jain and Ankita Lokhande, Sudesh Lehri and Mannara Chopra, Abdu Rozik and Elvish Yadav, Krushna Abhishek and Kashmera Shah, and Abhishek Kumar and Samarth Jurel. Harpal Singh Sokhi is the celebrity chef coach and Bharti Singh is the host of the show.
