The end of the show was also a big disappointment as fans never wanted it to end. But now, a few days ago producer Ekta Kapoor gave the best news to fans. She announced Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 with . Yes, Tulsi Mihir Virani is coming back to entertain the audience.

Ekta said, “The love we have for this program brought everyone related to it back together to complete just those 150 episodes to reach that 2000 episode. This show deserves that.” She also spoke about Smriti Irani returning as Tulsi. She said, “We are bringing politics into entertainment, or better, a politician into entertainment.”

Since then, a lot has been said about the show. As per reports, the show will go on floors in June 2025. The makers are reportedly busy with the casting. It is important to have the perfect Mihir opposite Smriti Irani.

Earlier, Amar Upadhyay played the role of Mihir Virani and later he left the show. Post that Ronit Roy entered as Mihir. Now, it seems the talks with them have happened but the haven’t been finalised.

The latest reports in Times Now say that Ekta Kapoor’s team has approached Anupamaa actors and for the role of Mihir. Yes, the talks are reportedly going on with these stars.

The source close to the portal said, “The makers are keen that Mihir’s character is played by someone who matches the legacy of Amar and Ronit. While both have been approached, the production house is also considering Sudhanshu Pandey and Gaurav Khanna to see if one of them could fit the part.” This is a big story in and .

Sudhanshu and Gaurav have been loved for their performance in Rupali Ganguly’s Anupamaa. Sudhanshu played Vanraj Shah while Gaurav was seen as Anuj Kapadia in the top TV serial. However, they both are not a part of the show now.

It will be interesting to see if one of them will bag the role of Mihir or not. Sudhanshu and Gaurav are yet to comment on this.
