Kumkum Bhagya is one of the most loved shows. It began in 2014 and still has a huge fan following. The show is winning hearts with its interesting storyline. The show began with Shabir Ahluwalia and Sriti Jha as the lead pair. It was a hit season and soon we saw new actors taking over. Krishna Kaul and Mugdha Chapekar played Ranbir and Prachi in the serial. Even they impressed the audience with their chemistry. The story did well and again, the makers decided to have a leap. Abrar Qazi and Rachi Sharma were finalised for the role of Rajvansh and Poorvi in 2023. They were a part of the show for a year.

We will now see the story of Prarthana post leap and as per Gossips TV, actress has been finalised for the lead role. Yes, she will be seen as Prarthana Malhotra in the serial. Earlier, it was being said that Pranali will be seen opposite Harshad Chopda in Ekta Kapoor’s new show. Later, reports suggested that she will be the lead in Hiba Nawab’s Jhanak post leap.

Now, it seems it is finalised that she is the new lead actress of Kumkum Bhagya. Talking about the male lead, it was being reported that Dheeraj Dhoopar and Kushal Tandon were approached for the show. However, they opted out and now, as per reports, Akshay Bindra will play the lead role.

He was seen in Kuch Toh Hai: Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein. He also did web shows such as Four More Shots Please, Jee Karda, Decoupled and more. It will be interesting to see a new pairing in a hit TV show like Kumkum Bhagya. However, nothing has been finalised yet.
