Ekta Kapoor‘s Kumkum Bhagya is one of the longest running shows. The show began in 2014 and has been loved by the audience. Shabir Ahluwalia, Sriti Jha, Krishna Kaul, Mugdha Chapekar, Abrar Qazi, and Rachi Sharma have been a part of three different stories in the show. Currently, we have Pranali Rathod and Akshay Bindra playing the lead roles of Prarthana and Raunak. The story of the show has been quite interesting but they are unable to get the TRP numbers. The ratings have been dipping and the makers are trying different ways to get back the numbers.
Recently, they brought back Prarthana’s mother Purvi (played by Rachi Sharma). The return of Purvi in Prarthana’s life has turned out to be quite interesting. However, even after that, the TRP ratings did not grow. It was being reported that the makers are now planning to end the show as they got a warning from the channel.
But, it seems they have another big plan. There were rumours that they are planning to bring in Shraddha Arya aka Preeta from Kundali Bhagya. Shraddha was on a maternity leave after the birth of her twins. After she left Kundali Bhagya, the show went off-air. The show had a a long seven year run.
Reports in Telly Talk India said that Shraddha is now returning as Preeta in . The source said, “Shraddha’s character was immensely loved by the audience, and she’s all set to make a comeback in Kumkum Bhagya as Preeta. The team has already discussed it with her, and she has given her nod.”
Now, even Shraddha has confirmed the news. She spoke to Telly Talk India and said, “A big yes! I missed being part of the Bhagya Universe. All I can say right now is soon; soon enough for fans to not miss any episode of Kumkum Bhagya hereon.” This is the most talked about in and .
