, a popular playback singer in the industry recently received Lifetime Achievement Award at Zee Real Heroes Award 2024. The event took place in Mumbai on January 14. Zee Real Heroes Awards 2024 ceremony honored the special contributions of individuals in their respective fields. Well, the event was graced by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and several stars who graced the red carpet with their presence including Amogh Lila Das, Ajay Devgn, Kartik Aaryan and Anupam Kher.

This year he was awarded ‘Lifetime Achievement’ for his phenomenal contribution in the field of music. The King of Medoldy, Kumar Sanu is a recipient of Padma Shri Award 2009 which is the fourth highest civilian honour. The singer also holds the Guinness Book of World Records since 1993 for recording the maximum number of songs in a single day.

Kumar Sanu has other awards which he received for his amazing work in the field of music. Kumar Sanu sang songs like Ek Ladki Ko Dekha, Chura Ke Dil Mera, Tujhe Dekha Toh, Meri Mehbooba, Tum Mile Dil Khile, Chaand Sitare, Baazigar O Baazigar and many other tracks which became a classic cult.

Apart from Hindi, Kumar Sanu has sung in Marathi, Nepali, Assamese, Bhojpuri, Gujarati, Manipuri, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Punjabi, Odia, Chhattisgarhi, Urdu, Pali, English and Bengali. He holds the record for winning five consecutive Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer from 1991 to 1995.

On the personal front, Kumar Sanu is married to Saloni Bhattacharya and the two has two daughters- Shannon K and Annabelle Kumar Sanu.
