KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty’s journey into parenthood has been nothing short of magical. The couple, who tied the knot on January 23, 2023, at Suniel Shetty’s Khandala farmhouse, embraced a new chapter with the birth of their daughter, Evaarah Vipula Rahul, on March 24, 2025 .
The cricketer felt an instant connection with the unique name, he said, “I loved it from the moment I saw it. It took me a little time to convince Athiya. But her parents and my parents loved it. Then she slowly fell in love with that name.”
Athiya’s father, veteran actor Suniel Shetty, also expressed his elation at becoming a grandfather. Reflecting on the new addition to the family, he shared, “Becoming a grandfather recently is a feeling I can’t even describe. It’s a happiness that’s pure and untouched by anything the world can give or take away”.
