UPDATE: Kiara Advani, contrary to the reports, has NOT been hospitalised.
The actress was scheduled to attend a promotional event for her upcoming film Game Changer today in the city but was notably absent. Reports then said Kiara was reportedly admitted to the hospital earlier this morning. The reason for her hospitalisation, however, remained unclear.
But her team has now clarified she was not hospitalised. She was only advised rest. She has been, we hear, constantly working for her multiple projects, and hence, had been feeling sick.
Earlier, at the trailer launch and press meet event scheduled for Saturday, the emcee announced that Kiara could not be present for she was hospitalised. Only Ram Charan, the male lead of Game Changer, was present. No other details about the reason behind her illness were shared.
Fans on social media also expressed concern about her health, and eagerly awaited updates.
Kiara was last seen in SatyaPrem Ki Katha, with Kartik Aaryan as the male lead. Kiara won several awards for her performance in the film.
Kiara’s slate for the upcoming years is full of quality content and sequels to blockbuster films. Apart from Game Changer, she will next be seen in War 2 with Hrithik Roshan, Don3 with Ranveer Singh and Maddock’s horror-comedy universe’s Shakti Shalini. She is also reportedly playing a pivotal role in Toxic, with Yash.
Here’s wishing Kiara a speedy recovery.
