Headlined by has led to a good jump on Saturday. As per early estimates for Saturday, the film has earned Rs 9.50 crores. On Friday, it managed to earn Rs 7.75 crores and the two-day total of Kesari Chapter 2 is Rs 17.25 crores. The worldwide collection, on Friday, is around Rs 14 crores and domestic collection, the worldwide gross has crossed Rs 23 crores. Talking about Kesari Chapter 2 had an overall occupancy of 20.47% and the morning shows had an occupancy of 11.68%. The afternoon shows had 22.91% occupancy and the evening shows had 26.83% occupancy. The film is all set to gross Rs 25-30 crores worldwide in its first weekend. Kesari is facing competition from Sunny Deol’s Jaat. Kesari Chapter 2 is directed by debutant Karan Singh Tyagi and stars Ananya Panday and R Madhavan in key roles. The film is based on the book The Case That Shook the Empire.
Talking about Jaat, the film is directed by Gopichand Malineni, is produced Mythri Movie Makers, the banner behind the Pushpa franchise. According to early estimates posted by industry tracker, Sacnilk, the film has earned Rs 7 crore India on day 2 and its total stands at Rs 16.5 crore in India.
Apart from Sunny, the film also stars Randeep Hooda as the main antagonist. The film features Saiyami Kher, Vineet Kumar Singh, Zarina Wahab, Ramya Krishnan and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles. Meanwhile, Salman’s starrer Sikandar managed to surpass Rs 100 crore mark worldwide. As per production house, Sikandar took saw a slight growth and collected Rs 39.37 crore gross in India and Rs 11.80 crore gross overseas. Its total stands around Rs 51.17 crore and worldwide collection stands at Rs 105.89 crore. Sikandar has surpassed the Day 2 worldwide haul of Chhaava.
