On April 10,’s film made it to the theatres. The buzz around the film was immense as all the Sunny Deol fans were charged up to watch first day, first show. Given that Sunny Deol’s previous film Gadar 2 did wonders at the box office, the expectations from Jaat are also high. However, it looks like Jaat has failed to achieve the same success as Gadar 2 on its opening day yet it has still performed decent. Take a look at the film’s box office report.
As per Sacnilk.com, ‘s Jaat made around Rs 9.50 crore India net collection on its day one at the box office. These are the early estimates and final figures are yet to come in. The numbers are quite decent given that many big-budget movies are failing at the box office. But Sunny Deol’s latest film has failed to beat Salman Khan’s recently released Sikandar. Though Salman Khan’s movie directed by AR Murugadoss is struggling at the box office, it had made around Rs 26 crore on its opening day. It has to be noted that Sikandar released on a holiday, i.e., on Sunday during Eid celebrations.
Meanwhile, Jaat has also failed to beat Sunny Deol’s previous film The film that released in 2023 set a new benchmark by earning whopping Rs 40 crore at the box office. But it was a sequel of already hit film and the movie already had a major fan base.
Jaat has received positive reviews and it is anticipated that it will pick up pace over the weekend. All the Sunny Deol fans have only good things to say about the movie but now it has to translate into box office numbers. The movie also stars and in pivotal roles. Apart from the three, the supporting cast includes Regina Cassandra, Saiyami Kher, Ayesha Khan, Zarina Wahab, Bandhavi Sridhar, Vishika Kota, Praneeta Patnaik, and more. The movie is directed by Gopichand Malineni.
