Early in the morning today, the Income Tax officials began the raids at the residences of prominent producers of the Telugu film industry. They began raids at the residences and offices of Dil Raju who produced two films this Sankranthi. He is also currently serving as the chairman of Telangana Film Development Corporation.
Searches were also conducted at the residence of his partner and fellow producer, Sirish, as well as the house of his daughter, Hansita Reddy. Additionally, we hear that the raids are being carried out at the offices and residences belonging to the producers of Mythri Movie Makers.
The residences of Naveen Yerneni, Yalamanchali Ravi Shankar, and CEO Cherry are being raided. They recently produced the film Pushpa 2: The Rule.
Dil Raju, known for producing big-budget films such as Game Changer and Sankranthi ki Vastunnam for this Sankranthi season, appears to be under significant scrutiny. Reports suggest that the operation involves 55 teams simultaneously conducting inspections at eight different sites.
