Amid the divorce rumours, multiple videos and quotes of both Govinda and Sunita have resurfaced online. One such video comes from the recent appearance of Govinda and Sunita on Kapil Sharma’s show. As expected, they left everyone in splits, and made some unexpected revelations.
During the episode, revealed why he would fight with Sunita in the beginning of their relationship. He said that she would show up wearing a short dress with her pet whom she’d carry in her hand. He said, “Mere jhagde issey shuru mei isi liye hue kyunki woh jo dress pehenti thi yahan se shuru hota tha.”
Govinda added that he was a religious man – who’d offer prayers daily – and never imagined to get a girl like Sunita. To this, Sunita hilariously reacted by saying ‘I was a Bandra girl. You are from Virar.’ Further in the conversation, the couple was also asked about their arguments and fights. Sunita Ahuja mentioned that they’d never fight. She maintained that when they were young, there was no time to fight as Govinda would always be busy with films.
Amid the divorce rumours, several statements made by Sunita in previous interviews have also gone viral. In one of the interviews with portal Curly Tales, Sunita had once made a comment saying that Govinda enjoys company of ‘stupid people.’ She said, “I like to talk less because I don’t like to waste my energy on stupid people. However, Govinda is very fond of stupid people. He sits with four stupid people, and then they talk nonsense, which I don’t like. I prefer spending my energy meditating and praying.” In one of the interviews, she even hinted that they live separately in different homes.
