will not be available for the final league match between the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in Match 70 of the Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL), which is scheduled to take place at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.
Notably, RCB have already secured a spot in the playoffs and will be aiming for a win to finish in the top two. Meanwhile, LSG will look to end their campaign on a high note with a victory in front of their home crowd.
Toss Update
RCB skipper Jitesh Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl first while stating that they prefer to chase as they aim to secure a top-two finish. He also confirmed that pacer Josh Hazlewood will be utilized during the playoffs. Meanwhile, LSG captain Rishabh Pant said the team showed glimpses of their potential in the previous match and will give their 100 percent in this final game.
Livingstone replaces David, Rathi comes back for LSG
For RCB, Liam Livingstone comes in as a replacement for Tim David, who sustained an injury in the previous match. Nuwan Thushara also replaces Lungi Ngidi, who left the team. As for LSG, Digvesh Rathi returns to the side after serving a one-match suspension, while Matthew Breetzke replaces in the lineup.
