Sai Sudharsan smashed his second IPL ton in the 60th match of the 18th edition of the league between Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The Southpaw took the game away from the home side right from the word go with a convincing batting partnership with and never let them return to it.
Chasing 200 on a dry surface, which was slow with the progression of the match, Sai and Gill gave a great start to the visiting side. Riding on the same, GT had a smooth run chase with no hiccups whatsoever. Sudharsan went bonkers in the Powerplay overs and put the bowlers on the back foot as soon as he could.
While Gill took a bit of his time, he went after the bowlers for fun after getting set. It was Sudharsan who stole the show, not just with his blitz in the first six overs, but by playing a long innings to notch up his second ton in IPL history.

In his stay in the middle, the Southpaw scored unbeaten 108 runs in 61 balls, which included 12 fours and four sixes. In the process, the star batter also became the leading run-scorer in the 18th edition of the tournament.

While Sudharsan played fast at the start, Gill went after the bowlers in the middle overs. The GT skipper put the bowlers on the back foot despite the slow nature of the surface. He continued his good form in the season and scored yet another fifty-plus total. While Sudharsan dealt more in boundaries, Gill took the aerial route and plundered the bowlers after he found his footing.
