Jai Santoshi Maa was the second highest-grossing movie of the year 1975. It stood second after that starred biggies like and others. The same year, Amitabh Bachchan’s Deewar also made it to the theatres. However, the film could not beat the box office collection of Jai Santoshi Maa, as reported by DNA.
