Director and actor Pradeep Ranganathan’s “Return of the Dragon”, is directed by Ashwath Marimuthu of Ori Devuda fame. The film also stars Anupama Parameswaran, Kayadu Lohar, K.S. Ravikumar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Mysskin. The film received massive love and appreciation from audience. It recently crossed 100 crores gross.
As the film became a blockbuster hit, the entire team organized a success meet in Hyderabad, which took place on Monday. At the event, Pradeep Ranganathan expressed his gratitude, stating that Ashwath began the story with the intention of creating a good film for a friend. He mentioned that they embarked on the project with the belief that hard work would lead to success. He noted how Ashwath became emotional after witnessing the audience’s response to the film in theaters and mentioned how the team was overwhelmed by the love shown by the Telugu audience.
Pradeep praised Leon James for delivering fantastic music. Ranganathan thanked the Telugu audience for making the film a massive hit and highlighted the positive response to Anupama’s role. He talked about people creating memes calling him the “adopted son of Telugu Cinema.” He expressed his gratitude for being accepted as part of the Telugu film industry and stated he would always be indebted to the Telugu audience.
Director Ashwath Marimuthu also spoke at the event, calling SS Rajamouli as his inspiration. Marimuthu credited the film’s success to his talented team and the strong friendship he shares with the hero. He reminisced about Mahesh Babu’s tweet about his previous movie Oh My Kadavule, which had a great reach, and expressed hope that Babu would watch and tweet about their latest film, Return of the Dragon.
Marimuthu also noted the film’s success in Tamil Nadu and the support it received from the Telugu audience. He described the movie as vibrant and colorful, emphasizing that while it was fun, it carried a meaningful message. He promised to continue bringing good films to the audience in the future.
