The year 2025 is truly the year of Hrithik Roshan. The superstar celebrates his 51st birthday on January 10. The year 2025 also marks his 25 years in the film industry and to mark the occasion, his first film Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai is set to re-release in theatres on his birthday. The film marked his debut and gave Bollywood the quintessential Bollywood star. Over the years, he honed his craft and emerged as one of the best actors there is. With films like Koi… Mil Gaya, Dhoom 2, Krrish, Guzaarish, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and War, he made inroads into the hearts of the audience and cemented his position. And now, all eyes are on War 2, where he returns as the unbelievably perfect Kabir starring alongside NTR Jr and Kiara Advani. The film is touted to be one of the biggest of 2025 and trade is sure that it will break opening day and weekend records.

However, this is not the only film that Hrithik fans are excited about. The actor’s superhero franchise is popular with kids and adults alike and everyone is waiting to know when they will get to see the next Krrish instalment aka Krrish 4. There have been numerous reports and speculations about the film but the actor has finally confirmed that the film is happening this year. At his pre-birthday bash and celebration of his 25 years in the industry, BollywoodLife asked Hrithik about Krrish 4 and he excitedly revealed, “Finally, This is the year.”

We also learnt that the actor has already started preparing to get into the superhero avatar. He is yet to shoot a song for War 2, which releases on 14 August, 2025 and once he is done promoting the film, he will get on the sets of Krrish 4. The actor will not be directed by his father Rakesh Roshan this time around and only produce the film while Karan Malhotra will take the baton.

The movie that finally goes on floors in mid-2025, may lock a release date for the later half of 2026. And since his birthday is round the corner, the actor may make an official announcement about the same on January 10, as his return gift to his fans for all the love and to mark his 25 years in the world of entertainment.

Apart from War 2, Hrithik will also be seen in Alpha (Christmas 2025) starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari to establish the crossover within the YRF spy universe.
