The ‘Thank You’ meet of Icon star and national award winning actor Allu Arjun’s historical blockbuster ‘Pushpa 2’ was held in Hyderabad on Saturday evening with a limited access only to the core team and the mainstream media. Pushparaj aka Allu Arjun graced the event with a new and rejuvenated look after many days with a trimmed beard and short hair.
Allu Arjun appeared more relaxed and unperturbed for the first time after the controversial stampede incident which marred the celebrations of Pushpa 2 in December last year. He expressed sincere and heartfelt gratitude to each and every technician and artist who worked for both parts of Pushpa. He wholeheartedly thanked everyone who travelled with the team in the last five years and contributed to the grand box office success. He quipped that it was good be back and showered praises on his supporters for standing by him at all times.
Referring to the poster in the background, Bunny said he feels very lucky to represent the energy of many people and called it was not him but that was a reflection of love lavished on him. He heartfully expressed that ‘ Hardwork is yours, Image is mine’. He acclaimed his producers and said ‘Pushpa’ wouldn’t have been possible without them. He thanked them for taking care of the entire team for five years.
Talking about technicians, Allu Arjun hailed all those who worked in different departments with utmost dedication. About Devi Sri Prasad, he recollected how overwhelmed he was when songs from Pushpa franchise garnered billion views when he used to think about the feeling of getting million views. He thanked DSP for everything and not just music. He commended the efforts of all choreographers who worked for the film.
Allu Arjun waxed lyrical about all artists who shared screen space with him in Pushpa. He thanked Fahad Fasil, Anasuya, Sunil, Jagadeesh, Rao Ramesh, Ajay and other supporting artists. Actress Rashmika Mandanna missed the event. Bunny complimented her and also thanked Samantha and Sree Leela for their special appearances.
He also extended warm greetings to all distributors from other languages and also thanked all film industries for embracing the film and making it massive blockbuster. Above all, he thanked the audiences of different languages for the support.
Coming to director Sukumar, Bunny said he wants to thank everyone except one person. “Thank You is not enough because no matter what actors and technicians contribute, it is the director who will give the hit”, added Allu Arjun. He praised Sukumar to the sky and made everyone there give a standing ovation to him.
Bunny revealed how he turned very emotional on the last day of the shooting when the five year journey ended. He said everyone in the team blindly followed Sukumar during this long journey.
Last but not the least, Bunny dedicated all the glory achieved with Pushpa to his fans. He said he loves his ‘Army’ to the core and assured them that he will continue to make them ‘Mad Mad Proud’ in the coming days.
